Choose the right reporting channel

Immediate danger or crime in progress: call police emergency 191.
Visitor assistance: call Tourist Police 1155 or use the current Tourist Police app information.
Non-emergency local report: identify the appropriate station in the Royal Thai Police directory.
Online scam or cybercrime: preserve the digital evidence and ask police for the current specialist reporting route; do not send money to someone claiming they can recover it.

Record the details while they are fresh

Write down the place, time and sequence of events. Keep booking records, receipts, account details, messages, screenshots, photographs and any vehicle plate or witness contact that may help explain what happened. These are practical preparation steps, not a statement that every item is legally required.

Protect yourself after the report

Keep the station name, report or reference details and copies of documents you are given. Contact your bank or card provider promptly if money or payment credentials are involved. If a passport was lost or stolen, contact your embassy or consulate for document guidance.
