If you email us, submit a correction, or send a trip-planning request, the information you enter may include your email address, travel context, and the contents of your message. Send only what is useful for the request; do not include passport details, payment information, health records, or other sensitive personal information.
We use submitted information to read, respond to, verify, prioritize, or improve the specific request. Planning requests are delivered to the planning desk and are automatically deleted after 30 days. A correction may be summarized publicly without publishing your private contact details.
Technical delivery and security information
Like most websites, the hosting and security services used to deliver the site may process technical request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, time of request, and security signals. This information is used for delivery, caching, reliability, abuse prevention, and diagnosing faults.
The site also records limited first-party aggregate measurement: daily totals for a small allowlisted set of events and broad page groups. It does not store a visitor ID, raw URL, search query, referrer, email address, or a join between measurement and planning requests. The aggregate table is retained for 30 days and is not sent to an advertising platform. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals disable this measurement.
We do not intentionally build advertising profiles or sell personal information. If analytics or booking tools are added, this notice will be updated to describe the change before relying on it.
Cookies and similar technology
The site does not intentionally set advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies. The aggregate measurement described above does not use a cookie or browser identifier.
