A river station tells you about one place and time. It does not certify every stretch of river or the water in a hotel tap.
Check the station, sample date and measured item. pH, oxygen, conductivity, turbidity and a water-quality index answer different questions. A missing station or date makes a result hard to use.
Rain and runoff can change a river quickly. Treat an old result as context, not a live warning or clearance.
Thaiwater provides multi-agency observations where a station is available. The Pollution Control Department publishes surface-water guidance and monitoring. Neither source is a universal realtime test for drinking water.
