Phuket has neighbourhood massage shops, resort spas and longer wellness programmes. Because beach districts are widely separated, location should be part of the choice rather than an afterthought.
Patong, Kata, Karon and other developed beaches have many nearby options. Resort spas may add privacy and facilities, but a cross-island transfer can turn a short treatment into half a day.
Confirm the exact branch, pickup terms, treatment duration and full price. Ask whether consultation, changing, sauna or shower time is included in the advertised session.
The Department of Health Service Support publishes establishment and practitioner lookup services. Check the listed business details and do not treat an old award or review as proof of present status.
Tell the therapist about pregnancy, recent surgery, injuries or relevant medication. Severe or unexplained symptoms need medical assessment, not a stronger massage.
