Wat Paramaiyikawat

Wat Paramaiyikawat is a Mon temple at the north end of Ko Kret in Nonthaburi. Its leaning white stupa and river setting introduce the island's Mon heritage before the pottery lanes and community life begin.

A temple at the island gateway

The temple is commonly treated as the gateway to Ko Kret because its ferry pier faces Pak Kret on the mainland. Its location makes the site part of the island's movement and settlement pattern, not a detached attraction.

Leaning stupa and Mon identity

The distinctive stupa tilts toward the river, while the temple is associated with the Mon community that shaped Ko Kret's culture. Visit the temple as an active religious place, then continue into the island's pottery and food traditions. Check ferry and local access conditions separately before travelling.
