Wat Chaloem Phra Kiat

Wat Chaloem Phra Kiat is Lampang's mountain-pagoda attraction, set above steep rocky terrain. The visit is partly a transport and walking plan, not a flat temple stop.

The sky-temple setting

Tourism Authority of Thailand describes the attraction as a hilltop group of white pagodas and identifies its local name as Wat Phrabat Pu Phadaeng. The same source places the lower parking area below the upper pagodas, with the final approach requiring a walk.

Plan around the climb

TAT's visitor description says the upper area involves a vehicle leg of about one kilometre and a further walk of about one kilometre. Distances and access arrangements can change, so check the current local notice before travelling. Allow for heat, uneven ground and a return walk.
