Legal access intelligence

Thailand legal offices need location, function, eligibility, hours, and jurisdiction.

Thailand legal-office data is a service-routing graph, not one master API. Use official agency datasets for office locations, Info.go for who can use each service and how to apply, agency pages for office hours and jurisdiction, and OSM/DBD only as enrichment for private legal-office discovery.

Authority order

Use this order when source layers disagree.

RankSource layer
1Official agency open dataset: canonical public office location and contact fields
2Official agency website: office page, hotline, working hours, jurisdiction, and service notes
3Info.go service page: function, eligibility, documents, fees, process, service points, and service hours
4Official restricted API: high-value but permissioned; document it as restricted, not open public data
5Government Data Catalog / agency CKAN metadata: discovery and resource validation
6OpenStreetMap: coordinates, office=lawyer, public-office tags, and nearby access enrichment
7Open DBD: private legal-service business discovery, not lawyer-license proof
8Lawyers Council: consultation and professional-body context
9Commercial POI APIs: opening hours, reviews, and photos only when licensed

Matching rules

A legal-access graph must not merge public courts, police stations, land offices, prisons, and private law firms into one flat POI category.

RuleMeaning
1Office type must match before merging: court, police station, land office, legal aid office, prison, probation office, or private law firm.
2Official name plus parent agency plus province is a strong public-office match.
3Official address plus coordinates within 150 meters is a strong geospatial match.
4COJ jurisdiction, land-office jurisdiction, police area, and DOPA district boundaries must be stored separately.
5Working hours are not service hours; filing counters, visits, emergency reporting, and online intake can differ.
6Private company registration is not lawyer-license verification.
7Do not use restricted identity, land-title, court-case, or personal justice APIs as public open feeds.

Legal office types

Each page explains what the office does, who can use it, how to use it, working-hour caveats, source focus, and traps.
