A firm listed at a fair is not necessarily the exporter of a particular shipment. Check the company identity and the scope and date of each record. Broad trade totals can include more than finished jewelry.
Thailand's jewelry trade includes makers, exporters, labs, and trade groups. Company records, customs totals, and fair lists each describe a different part of that trade.

“Thailand jewellery exporters data” can mean several very different things. Customs data counts goods that cross a border. A company register lists legal firms. A trade group lists its members. A state trade service may list suppliers. A fair lists firms that took part in that event. These sources should not be merged into one list and called the full exporter market.
The Thai Customs Department has a public trade-data search. It can be searched by import or export, HS code, country, month, and year. Thai Customs also states that its web data may be changed or revised.
GIT turns part of this data into a gem and jewellery data set. Its Thailand Import-Export page covers Harmonized System Chapter 71. It can show trade by product or country. The series starts in 2012. GIT says the data will often trail the Thai Customs release by about one month.
This data is useful for trade flow. It does not give a full public list of each firm that made each export.
The World Customs Organization defines HS Chapter 71. It includes pearls, gems, precious metals, metal clad with precious metal, goods made from those items, imitation jewellery, and coin. It also includes raw or partly worked goods in several headings.
So a Chapter 71 total is not the same as the value of finished rings, chains, earrings, or other jewellery made in Thailand.
GIT's 2026 data shows why this matters. For January through June 2026, it gave a gross gem and jewellery export value of USD 16. 91682 billion. After it removed unwrought gold, the value was USD 8. 25319 billion. Both figures cover the same six months. The large gap shows how much raw gold flow can change the headline number.
A sound export figure so needs a date and a clear product scope. It should also state whether unwrought gold is in or out of the total.
DBD DataWarehouse covers juristic persons in Thailand. It can show that a firm is in the Thai company register. It can also show its legal status and filed company data. That does not prove that the firm made a jewellery export in the latest customs month.
